Even though I’ve been a total grammar nerd since I learned to write, the fact that commas and periods go inside quotation marks (in the U.S., at least) took me the longest to learn. It really does make no sense, but I finally got the hang of it.

People who live in a neighborhood like mine (Prospect Heights) that isn’t always serviced by FiOS: Optimum is amaaaaaaazing. The people were nice, everything is fast, and that internet is only 30 bucks a month.
