Stop What You’re Doing And Watch The Hell Out Of This of the Day: Using footage captured on two Canon 5D mark II DSLRs — one overexposed and one underexposed — and subjected to “a variety of [High Dynamic Range] processing tools to combine the video from the two cameras,” the folks at Soviet Montage managed to compile the world’s very first HDR video. And, as expected, it is gorgeous.

Soviet Montage promises to “continue to develop and improve the HDR video process for better results and efficiency.” Here’s to seeing a lot more of this in the very near future.
