I could use this post to talk about the fascinating cultural dialogue where anything Japanese is quick shorthand for “the future”. Or to talk about will’s animated whiteface and racial politics in Nicki Minaj’s music and persona. Like, you know, how she appropriates the image of Barbie and stuff.
But it’s Friday and mostly what I want to say is that I am still not tired of her facial tics and funny voices and Pink Friday is my most-anticipated album right now. You heard the clips? Yeah.
