Instant Coffee - November 7, 2007

It’s a Christmas miracle. I thought all of these tapes were destroyed.
I found one episode, and it’s a doozy (not a good doozy).
This is an early installment of my college radio show Instant Coffee with co-host Jen Bokoff. That makes this a must-listen for fans of me, her, or We Live With You.
Some context.
I cut off the few minutes at the beginning where the hosts of the show before us (which was called “Awk. Silence”) wondered where we were, because we were late. If I remember correctly, we stayed up late the night before, both woke up late, and ran with five minutes to spare all the way to the radio station. The show started at 8 a.m. and we were in college. Sorry. Thus the panting, and the technical difficulties, and the all-around unprofessional attitude displayed herein.
I apologize for saying that I was excited to see Juno, because that was not a good movie.
I do not know why we were calling the show Instant Honeywater for some reason.
The Gershwin was so we could leave the station with a long song running and get breakfast before it was over, in flagrant violation of FCC regulations. Sorry.
I did not listen to the entire thing before posting it here.
We had a guy who called every week as a different celebrity, so that’s what that’s about.
We were in a Vitamin Water phase at the time (and for like two years thereafter).
The whole thing is very college. Very 2007. Very embarrassing. Please enjoy.
