Am just now getting back to Brooklyn after seeing “Refresh Refresh Refresh” and am not happy that I had to leave so quickly afterward, so that I might catch a bus to Massachusetts tomorrow at a very early hour. Lots of thoughts and opinions, mostly that everyone was great, except for the bro behind me who was whispering vaguely racist things while Das Racist were speaking!? My major regret is not getting through the crowds to introduce myself IRL to and congratulate David of “Pitchfork Reviews Reviews” because his story was mad good, and I’ve never used the phrase “mad ______” before but now I really want to. I feel proud, or something? Next time! For now it goes on the internet. I love when all the things that give me, like, real pleasure or surprise or other emotions on the internet manifest themselves ideally IRL, and tonight was like that. Now off to New England with good vibes within. (lol, vibes. mad good.)
